Eliezer Mukhia grew up in a home filled with arguments, stress, and fear. His parents struggled with drinking, and it often led to fights at home. Many evenings ended in shouting and tension. There was no peace, and the heavy atmosphere affected him deeply. He felt suffocated, anxious, and emotionally disturbed. At night, he struggled with sleepwalking and behaved abnormally because of the pressure on his mind.
As the situation worsened, his thoughts grew darker. He felt lost and overwhelmed and often wanted to run away from everything. He longed for inner peace, but he did not know where it would come from or if his family would ever experience it.
One day, a pastor visited his village and shared the message of God’s love from John 3:16. For the first time, Eliezer heard about a peace that comes from Christ — a peace that touches the heart and calms the mind. His family accepted Christ, and slowly, hope entered their home.
As Eliezer began following Christ, he noticed changes within himself. The emotional burden he carried began to lift. His thoughts became clearer, and compassion and kindness grew in his heart. His parents’ behavior improved, relationships healed, and the atmosphere in their home became peaceful. He held onto the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17 — that those who are in Christ are made new.
Today, Eliezer shares his journey to encourage others. His story shows that even in the most difficult environments, God’s peace can bring new beginnings, emotional stability, and hope.
