The popularity of the Christian hymns soared as people remembered singing the much loved songs in their home churches. Memories of families worshiping together holding a copy of the geet ki kitab or hymn books flooded popular imagination as CBN broadcast church choirs from churches in Delhi, Lukhnow, Aligarh, Bareilly and Assam covering nearly thirty choirs in eight states. Everyday, messages and phone calls pour in as people comment on how the music heals them, gives them hope and lifts their spirits.
