“Akelepan mein judo—khud se, Khuda se, ek doosre se.”
Some songs begin long before a melody is written.
Tanha Nahi Tu began as a moment of honest sharing.
When gospel rap duo The Hosanna Twins—twin sisters Varsha and Sherin—shared their journey with a CBN producer, they opened up about rejection, their path as female rap artists, and how God met them in their lowest moments.
Months later, while the CBN India team was creating content for their viewers on the growing issue of loneliness, one phrase from that brief stood out:
“Akelepan mein judo—khud se, Khuda se, ek doosre se.”
It captured something powerful—how disconnection from self, God, and others lies at the root of emotional isolation and deep loneliness.
That phrase sparked the idea for a song.
Soon, the talented sisters were back—this time in the CBN studio —writing and recording Tanha Nahi Tu, a hauntingly honest Hindi gospel rap for anyone silently struggling with loneliness, self-worth, or a disconnect with God.
Released just ahead of Independence Day, the song is a timely reminder:
“You may feel alone—but you are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.”
